DHP Presents Annual Snowman Scavenger Hunt

Just about this time each year when we all have cabin fever and are looking for a unique and fun adventure, the Downtown Hawley Partnership (DHP) presents their annual “Where’s Wilburr” scavenger hunt from Saturday, February 11th through Tuesday, February 21st

“Come Home to Hawley” anytime throughout the scavenger hunt period when WIlburr the Snowman will be hiding at each participating business throughout the downtown/Lake Region.  All you have to do to play is find him!  There is no cost to participate in this fun-for-all-ages activity.

Pick up a game card at participating businesses, then find Wilburr at select locations to have your card stamped. When your card is complete, turn it in for a chance to win a gift certificate.  Winners will be randomly drawn on Saturday, February 25th   While looking for Wilburr, you’ll want to also browse our unique shops where you are sure to find treasures for you or your Valentine .  (Our friendly shop owners won’t tell you where Wilburr is, but they will tell you about their merchandise and great values you won’t find at the Big Box).

A Chance to Meet Wilburr

New this year, you’ll also want to bring the kids (and big kids) to kick off the scavenger hunt with a photo-op breakfast with Wilburr on Saturday, February 11th at the Lake Wally Café at 401 Main Avenue, Hawley.  Starting at 11:00 a.m. you can visit and take a picture with Wilburr (ala carte breakfast menu available).

Be sure to mark your calendar now for the Where’s Wilburr scavenger hunt,  February 11th through Tuesday, February 21st.   For additional information about Where’s Wilburr or other Downtown Hawley Partnership events and activities, check out our Facebook and Instagram pages as well as visithawleypa.com
