Science of Compost
Location: Settler's Inn, 4 Main Ave, Hawley, PA

Katharine Brown knows a thing or two about compost. At Fox Hill Farm, she and her husband use their 50 acre farm to produce fresh cut flowers, raise grass fed beef and pastured poultry. Join us as she shares her knowledge about producing and using compost in flower and vegetable gardens. Learn about the different methods of mixing compost, like closed bins, piling, vermicomposting and more!
This event is the third in a Science on Tap program series being organized by a partnership of local conservation and environmental groups. For each event, we tap an expert in a particular field to lead a presentation and lively discussion in an informal setting.
This program is free, but you must cover your own food and drink costs. In honor of the event, Settler’s mixologists are offering a drink special.
