Lake Alden Hydrilla Management Workshop
Location: The Wayne County Park Street Complex: 648 Park Street, Honesdale
Time: Sep 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Hydrilla is an aquatic invasive plant that can outcompete many native organisms and disrupt ecological systems within and around an infested body of water. Hydrilla has been identified in Wayne County’s Lake Alden and recorded by the Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program in the PA iMapInvasives database. This workshop will focus on the treatment and management options for Lake Alden as well as methods to prevent the spread of aquatic invasives between waterbodies.
