This woodland is one of the last undeveloped areas around Lake Wallenpaupack. Before the lake was formed in 1926, parts of Shuman Point were farmed. Now this 300 acre woodland is a natural area set aside by PPL for the public’s enjoyment. It contains 3 miles of hiking trails.
