The Cooperage on Tap

Location: The Cooperage Project
Time: Sep 8, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Don’t miss the second year of Honesdale’s one and only craft beer festival! Join in on Saturday, September 8 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and enjoy a lineup of a half a dozen breweries brewing beer or growing hops all in the Northern Pocono Region and sampling savory and sweet bites from local restaurants and businesses all while raising money for The Cooperage Project! New this year, a preview hour from 1:00 to 2:00pm. Be the first of the day to taste all of the brews and bites! Throughout the festival enjoy fun live music by honky tonk band The El Pasos! The El Pasos serve the country-underserved market of New York City and the greater tri-state area with classic country songs to make you want to weep in your beer or scoot a boot. They play the faves from Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, George Jones, Steve Earle, Roger Miller, Justin Townes Earle, Tom T. Hall plus some old rock and roll and rockabilly favorites! The mission of The Cooperage Project is to offer a range of instructive and entertaining activities that will engage, challenge and enlighten. Through a variety of programs, we will inspire people of all ages to both embrace diversity and celebrate shared experience in order to create a deeper sense of community. Not a beer drinker? That’s ok! We’ve got a discount non-taster ticket for those of you who aren’t all about the hops, but would like to support The Cooperage Project and local businesses all while enjoying the delicious local fare offered and iced tea, coffee and more! All proceeds raised will benefit The Cooperage Project. Individuals must be 21 or over to enter.
