March Music Circle at the Himalayan Institute

For the next Music Circle at the Himalayan Institute, we will play from 3 until 6 pm. Look for us in the Seminar Room of the main building, or outside if the weather is nice. Please park in the rear parking lot, not near the main building entrance.
We mix group play with instruction and informal conversation. As we grow in participants, there may be some break-out sessions for the second hour, and then a final group play during the last hour.
The Acoustic Music Circle Project is a monthly gathering of amateur and perhaps some professional musicians modeled after the events held at the David Adler Center in Chicago. People of all ages from the community coming together to share and learn folk music acoustically with no amplification, all cultures and styles are welcomed.
If folks would like to buy a drink or snack from the Cafe, come a bit early because the Cafe closes at 2:30 pm on Sundays. If folks would like to stay for dinner at 6 pm, the cost is $12 per person and the buffet style dinner includes a home cooked desert. You would pay for your dinner(s)at the front desk when you arrive.
