Lake Wallenpaupack Contractor Workshop
Location: Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center
Time: Mar 22, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Participants in the workshop will learn about generation and lake levels, how to find the Lake Office’s property line and normal high water mark, what types of projects are permitted or prohibited, permits that are required, and vegetation management at the lake. Pike and Wayne County Conservation Districts will discuss local, state and federal permitting including general permits that deal with docks, gravel paths, boat ramps, steps, and bank stabilization as well as erosion and sediment control plans (E&S) and dredging. Contractors that attend this bi-annual workshop will be added to the “Contractors List” that is sent to lakefront owners. Registration is required by March 15th.
